Have you ever been in the Arctic? No, it's not where Santa lives, it's a bit farther north.  Polar nights here last all day in winter and sun is not setting in summer.  Real reindeer roam in the tundra and real or imaginary trolls live here.  This harsh climate and wild landscapes make it even more beautiful and memorable. High peaks, cliffs towering over sandy beaches, fjords that cut the archipelago into hundreds of islands, sheep grazing on lush green grass - all this is unforgettable.

But perhaps the most interesting, you can even say the magic is the Northern Lights, Aurora Borealis.  The likelihood of us encountering it at this time in the season is relatively high.  And if you have a choice of what to see in Norway, then we would recommend Lofoten.  This Northern archipelago is perhaps the most beautiful and stark there is in the North.

Many sandy beaches here are just as picturesque as the beaches of southern latitudes.  Great place to take a swim for the most brave among us.

We will definitely climb to the observation deck Reinebringen, wander between rorbu on the quiet streets of small towns and fishing villages Reine, Mosknes and O (the settlement with the shortest name).  We will take the best trails and climb to the peaks, from which you can see the real beauty of this Northern paradise.

Day 1

Departure from Lviv, overnight at a camp site in Estonia in a tent.

Day 2-3

We take a ferry to Helsinki, then back on the road through Finland and Norway. By the end of the 3rd day we arrive at Lofoten.

Day 4

Trek to Kvalvika beach and Ryten mountain, brave ones do not forget to take swimming trunks and swimsuits.

Day 5

In the morning we visit the Reinebringen lookout, which offers an unforgettable view of the Reine, and after lunch we will see the city. You will see the characteristic for Norway red rorbu, fishing boats and boats, places for drying fish.

Day 6

Today we have one of the most beautiful treks on Lofoten, to the houses of Monkeby, and then, on the way, looking to Jupiter, we will climb Munkan.

Day 7

The village with the shortest name is Oh, where the paved roads end, plus the trek to Mount Walstadinden.

Day 8

Climb to the top of Stornapptinden with the view of the Heningsvaer village.

Having walked along the Haukland beach, we are off to the Himmeltindan trek.

Day 10

On this day we climb to the top of Stiurtinden, after a walk through the village museum of Nasfjord.

Day 11

Trek to Narvtinden and on our way towards Finland.

Day 12

On the road to Helsinki. Overnight at the campsite in the tent.

Day 13

4-5 hours free time in Helsinki, ferry to Tallinn, overnight stay at the camp site.

Day 14

Road through Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. Arrival to Lviv ca midnight.
Arrival time depends on the speed of border crossing.

Due to weather conditions and other circumstances, minor changes to the program are possible.

• Transportation by van from Lviv

• All nights along the route in campsites or in the wild


• Mountaineering guide for the entire route;


• Common use equipment: pots, gas burners, fuel, GPS navigator, first-aid kit for the group


• Consultations on trekking, personal equipment, insurance, etc

The price doesn’t include:  

• Food (~40-50 euro per person for the entire trip. Depends on the actual price of food, some of which we will buy on the road. You can also bring your own food) All members of the group take participate in cooking and will carry it on backpacking trips


• Visa/passport fees (aren't required for a biometric passport)


• Shower in campsites and shelters (4-5 minutes for ~1 euro)


• Souvenirs, entrance tickets and optional excursions not covered by this program;

• equipment rental: a tent, a sleeping bag, a rug, etc., organizers can help with rentals if necessary
