About the trip
Jungle and mountains lie at the core of this journey.
We will discover the real rainforest with impenetrable thickets of giant trees encircled by lianas, visit the Bolivian hinterland, hike the best track in the Cordillera Real mountain range, climb Huayna Potosi (6088m) and see the Titicaca Lake, which we will definitely visit as we embark on a boat in the footsteps of Thor Heyerdahl.
We will also take the opportunity to stroll through the streets of La Paz, taste the local cuisine, and visit the Coca Museum and the Witches' Market.
The program
day 1
Arrival in La Paz.
Check-in at the hotel / hostel / guesthouse. Sorting out organizational details, exchanging currency, purchasing tickets and gas cylinders, seeing the city, getting acquainted with the local cuisine.
day 2
We head out into the jungle to sail one of the many rivers that flow into the Amazon and see the humid equatorial forest of South America. Flight or go by bus to Rurrenabaque.
Overnight stay at hotel / hostel / guesthouse.
day 3-4
Two-day tour of the rainforest with an overnight stay in a village by the river.
During the trip, you will be able to observe wild plants, colorful birds, pink dolphins and piranhas, caimans and otters. The world of Amazon jungle is extremely captivating and diverse.
day 5
Reserve day.
Overnight stay at hotel / hostel / guesthouse.
day 6
Return to La Paz.
Overnight stay at hotel / hostel / guesthouse.
day 7
Free time in La Paz.
Despite the fact that the official capital of Bolivia is the city of Sucre, in fact, La Paz is recognized as the main city of the country. Here are the main industrial sites, the government and the residence of the president of the country. La Paz is a very fascinating city. Modern skyscrapers are adjacent to the Witches’ Market, where locals buy amulets to protect them from all misery. This city has existed since the 16th century and has preserved a rich colonial heritage with a huge number of ancient stone houses, serving as a decoration of the city. And what you definitely won't find in any city in the world is the Museum of Coca, the cult plant of South America.

day 8-10
Early in the morning, we leave for the small mountain village of Tuni, from where the route of our track starts. We will trek for about 35 km in three days.
The route of this track is the most picturesque near La Paz. We will climb to the altitudes of 4,430 – 5,150 meters, offering a magnificent view of the Cordillera Real mountain range.
By the evening of day 10, we stay in refuge near Huayna Potosi.
day 11
Climb Huayna Potosi.
Overnight stay in refuge or village of Tuni.
day 12
Reserve day in the mountains in case of bad weather.
If this day is saved, it is possible to spend it in La Paz or visit the Valle de la Luna.
Overnight stay at hotel / guesthouse / hostel.
day 13
Travel to the Copacabana.
Overnight stay at a hotel / hostel / guesthouse.
day 14
Today we will see one of the wonders of Peru and Bolivia - the floating islands on Lake Titicaca at an altitude of almost 4,000 meters. We will visit the cradle of Inca civilization - the Sun and Moon islands.
Return to La Paz.
Overnight stay at a hotel / hostel / guesthouse.
day 15
Departure home.
Due to weather conditions and other circumstances, minor changes to the program are possible.
