About the trip
We are offering you to spend 7 summer days in the Alps. The trip involves two stay locations near Chamonix and Névache. From there, we will make one-day hikes, partially passing the legendary Tour des Ecrins GR54 and Tour de Mont Blanc, from which stunning alpine views are opened.
We will ascend to the summit of Mont Thabor (3,178 m) and see the peaks of the Mont Blanc massif sinking in the clouds.

The program
Day 1-2 – the road
Group gathering at Lviv railway station. Departure at 5:00 am.
The trip to France will take 2 days, we buy products on the way in Poland.
Overnight stay in a tent at a campsite.
In the evening of day 2 we reach the campsite near Névache.
Day 3 – Lac de Cristol (2,245 m)
At 9:00 am we leave the campsite on the route to Lac de Cristol. We return to the campsite using the same trail.
• Daily mileage – 12 km;
• Total elevation gain - 700 meters;
• Travel time – 5-6 hours.
Day 4 – Glacier Blanc (2,900 m)
At 9:00 am we leave by minibus to Refuge Cézanne (1,874 m).
We walk up to Glacier Blanc (2,542 m), where you can stop at a cafe or walk a little further to the glacier.
We return to the minibus using the same trail.

• Total elevation gain – 700 meters;
• Travel time – 5-6 hours.
Day 5 – Mont Thabor (3,178 m)
At 9:00 am we leave by minibus to the starting point of the route - a parking lot near Refuge Terzo Alpini and Refuge I Re Magi at an altitude of 1,765 meters.
Next, we take the route to the top of Mont Thabor.
We return to the minibus using the same trail.

• Total elevation gain – 1,400 meters;
• Travel time – 8-9 hours.
Day 6 – Tour des Ecrins (part of the route)
In the morning, we leave camp and at 9:00 am set out to the village of Le Casset (1,500m) by minibus. From here, passing the Col d'Arsine (2,340 m), we will hike part of the legendary GR54 Tour des Ecrins to the village of Villar-d'Arène, located at an altitude of 1655 m.
• Daily mileage – 18 km;
• Total elevation gain – 860 meters;
• Travel time – 8-9 hours.
Near Villar-d'Arène, we get back to the minibus and go to a campsite located in Chamonix.
Day 7 – Tour de Mont Blanc (part of the route)
At 9:00 am we leave the campsite by minibus and go to the starting point in Le Tour (1,463m). Here we start a circular route. After passing Col de Balme (2,200 m), we go on Tour de Mont Blanc and after 6 km close the circle and descend back to Le Tour to the minibus.

• Total elevation gain – 800 meters;
• Travel time – 6-7 hours.
Day 8 - Chamonix Glaciers
At 9:00 am we leave by minibus to Le Biollay (1,050 m), then walk to Galerie des Cristaux (1,913 m), overlooking the Mer de Glace glacier.
We return to Le Biollay.
• Daily mileage – 11 km;
• Total elevation gain – 900 meters;
• Travel time – 5-6 hours.
Day 9 - Col de la Croix du Bonhome Pass (2,479 m)
At 9:00 am we leave for the Notre-Dame De La Gorge parking lot (1,200 m), from where we make a hike, capturing another part of the Tour de Mont Blanc. We will ascend the Col de la Croix du Bonhome Pass.
Descent to the parking lot using the same path.

• Total elevation gain – 900 meters;
• Travel time – 5-6 hours.
Day 10-11 – the way home
We leave camp and Chamonix at 9:00 am. Overnight stay at a campsite in Germany.
In the evening of day 11 we arrive in Lviv; the arrival time will depend on border crossing, but not before 11:00 pm.
Depending on weather conditions, it is possible to change the sequence of routes – initially hikes in the Chamonix area and then move to Névache.
Due to weather conditions and other circumstances, minor changes to the program are possible.
Included
The price includes the following:
- transportation along the whole route by a minibus from Lviv;
- accommodation for all nights in tents near shelters, at campsites or specially equipped places;
- burner and gas and the use of public kitchen equipment; food will be cooked with the participation of all members of the group;
- group medical first aid kit;
- guide support;
- hiking consultations, personal equipment, insurance.
The price does not include:
- food products (approximately 50 euros per person for the whole trip, personal meals are available at your request);
- visa payment for those who do not have a biometric passport or need one;
- showers in campsites and mountain shelters.
