About the trip
Discover the mysterious Kingdom of Morocco with Raido. Describing Morocco is as challenging as trying to recount the tales of One Thousand and One Night. This country must be “read” by you, and no one else can tell you what it’s like. It is mysterious and multifaceted, and needs to be experienced through all senses - seeing, feeling, listening, smelling, and tasting. During this trip we will trek through the Atlas Mountains, and attempt a summit of Jbel Toubkal (4,167 m elevation) opening to fantastic views all around. What is new?
-
A conceptually different hiking approach, as all nights are spent at hotels, shelters or in tents provided by the Moroccan side. You will not have to carry any hiking gear besides your sleeping bag and thermarest.
-
Meals and drinking water will be included throughout the mountain hike. No need to worry about your meal instead of simply enjoying mountain beauty.
-
Your luggage will be transported by mules. All you will need to carry around is a small day-backpack with only the most necessary items.
-
To maximize safety, our group will have assistance of an experienced Moroccan guide, a graduate of a French school of guides.
-
This year’s trip will take place in April, when it’s usually much warmer, greener, with flowers blooming, mountain passes having less snow.
