This name does not leave anyone indifferent. Someone wants to climb to the top, someone to look at it from afar, and we suggest you hike along the most beautiful Swiss part of the route from Mont Blanc to the Matterhorn, which is called Walkers Haute Route.

The classic Haute Route, which means “high road”, is a winter ski route from one mountain shelter to another. Skiers cover 180 km of the route in 7 or more days. In the summer, it can be covered in 12. The summer version of the route is better known under the name Walkers Haute Route and it is included in the “The Best Hikes in the World” list.

We will not follow the standard Walkers Haute Route, although perhaps there is no standard one, because there are many paths between the valleys and several trails through different mountain passes. Instead, we have chosen the most interesting for you, for 9 days we will hike approximately 140 km and with about 9000 meters of elevation gain.

You will remember the Walkers Haute Route for its blooming alpine meadows, high mountains passes, steep trails and picturesque landscapes.

Day 1

Departure from Lviv at 5 am. The road takes us through Ukraine, Poland and Germany. Overnight in Germany at the campsite, in tents.

Day 2

We arrive in Switzerland and, if possible, immediately start on the trekking route to cover a few kilometers on this day.

Day 3-10

Trek to the Matterhorn peak, Walkers Haute Route. The altitude range is approximately from 1000 to 3000 meters. In total the trail is about 140 km long with a total elevation gain of about 9 thousand meters.

Backup day

Day 12-13

The road home. Arrival time in Lviv late at night, perhaps after midnight, depends on the border crossing time.

The price includes:

• Transportation by van from Lviv to Switzerland and back


• All nights on a trip in a tent, at refuges or in campsites;


• Professional guide for the entire route;


• Common use equipment: pots, gas burners, fuel, GPS navigator, first-aid kit for the group


• Consultations on trekking, personal equipment, insurance, etc

The price doesn’t include:

• Food (~40-50 euro per person for the entire trip. Depends on the actual price of food, some of which we will buy on the road. You can also bring your own food) All members of the group take participate in cooking and will carry it on backpacking trips


• Visa/passport fees (aren't required for a biometric passport)


• Shower in campsites and shelters;


• Souvenirs, entrance tickets and optional excursions not covered by this program;
